The ghost of a civil war fighter has regularly been noticed gazing at the water by Burton Pond Dam on a dark night. Regardless of what, it's undeniably a chilling ghost that you wouldn't wish to bump into at the stroke of midnight.
Lost in the Night
The ghost of a gentleman having a name cut into his head is frequently distinguished tossing boulders into the flowing water at Arnell Creek on a dark night.
The Conductor
The ghost of a train driver is known to have been distinguished on many occasions down next to the water at Angola Neck redistributing orbs about.
Man Against Nature
The ghost of a terribly mangled hunter pulling a dead deer may often be witnessed in Beach Plum Island State Park very late at night looking terrifying.
Heads Up
A woman with no head can be noticed often gazing angrily at the viewer at Broadkill Beach. According to what the residents say, this ghost can be the spirit of a person who lived here who passed on here in Lewes a long time ago.
The Old Man
A man lacking a head has once in a while been distinguished right by Cape Henlopen State Park yelling at the viewer to beat it. A lot of local residents allege this ghost is probably the undead ghost of a resident who used to have a house here in Lewes.
Help Me
The ghost of an elderly prospector with a sizeable mustache and a wooden leg is now and then observed before dawn staring across Flat Sands. Local people claim that this spirit is the tormented spirit of an old Lewes person who lived here.
Vengeance
The ghost of an old woman hauling a rifle is known to have been seen on many instances on the pinnacle of Sand Hill around midnight looking at the vista.

No matter what people articulate, this ghost undeniably is creepy; one that any wise person wouldn't want to run into.
Housekeeping
The ghost of an aged cleaning lady was seen in the backseat of a car by the driver observing the ghost in her rear view mirror late in the night. When the witness came into view the ghost escaped. Several of those who live here assert this ghost is that of a local person who had a house here in Lewes before the present.

The spirit of a destitute gentleman was observed mowing the lawn in the garden of a mobile home in Lewes. The ghost mentioned avenging a murder. If you listen to the local residents, this ghost likes terrifying unwise people who come trying to locate ghosts in Lewes.
The Beast That Wasn't There
A creepy beast showed up by a woman fishing by a lake in close proximity to Lewes. The observer got freaked out and ran away. One thing is for sure, this is an unlikable ghost that you shouldn't go looking for.
The Zinc-Miner
The spirit of a zinc-miner was observed quite near the entrance to Assateague Island National Seashore howling. The ghost did not seem to be worried by the bystanders.

A female with a fairly translucent body was distinguished relaxing on a bench in an apartment in Lewes. When the ghost was spotted it faded away into the air.

The ghost of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead has often been seen struggling to grasp something by a streetlamp in Lewes.

The phantom of a guy in an armed forces uniform is repeatedly perceived searching through the closet in the bedroom of a Lewes apartment very late at night. Any which way, it sure is a menacing ghost that should be kept away from.
Knight in Shining Armor
A medieval armor without a human inside may repeatedly be witnessed looking at folks in a Lewes trailer through an air vent.
